Choose how optional storage supports advertising visits.

We name every storage purpose.
Legacy Plumbing receives paid clicks from Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, and Meta Ads sends traffic here where a campaign runs. This cookies statement explains the small files, browser storage and advertising identifiers connected with that visit.
There is no account, password, payment or card data on this site. The inquiry form and support chat work as contact channels. Optional measurement and advertising storage stays denied until you allow it.
This notice took effect on October 10, 2026 and records the choices available today.
This cookies and advertising choices notice took effect on October 10, 2026. It applies to the Legacy Plumbing website at legacyplumbings.com, including pages reached from a paid advertisement and pages reached directly.
The site is operated for plumbing enquiries from homes and businesses in Frisco and North Texas. The storage described here is tied to this site and its contact functions. It does not turn the site into a shop or create an account for the visitor.
The site separates strictly necessary, analytics and advertising storage by what each category does.
Strictly necessary
Strictly necessary storage keeps a consent choice available under site_consent_v2, supports the operation of the page and lets a chat started by a visitor return to its conversation. It is not used to build an advertising profile. The site cannot offer a working consent control or preserve a chat session without these limited functions.
Analytics
Analytics storage helps the operator understand visits and site use when the visitor allows it. Consent Mode v2 signals can still be sent in a limited way while storage is denied; allowing analytics storage permits the optional storage associated with that measurement. It is not required to read service information or submit an enquiry.
Advertising
Advertising storage and related data use support attribution for Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads. It can associate an ad click with a visit through an identifier, but it remains denied until the visitor gives permission. Declining or withdrawing permission sets the applicable choices back to denied.
The storage inventory shows who sets each item, its purpose and the period it remains available.
| Name | Who sets it | Purpose | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
site_consent_v2 | Legacy Plumbing site | Records the visitor's necessary, analytics and advertising storage choice. | 12 months |
| Chat token | Legacy Plumbing chat service | Returns a visitor to a support chat they started. It does not create an account. | Until the chat record is deleted or the browser storage is removed; chat transcripts are kept for 18 months. |
gclid | Google Ads | Identifies a Google Ads click for attribution when a campaign sends the visitor here. | Subject to the platform and consent choice; it is not saved by this site before optional permission. |
msclkid | Microsoft Advertising | Identifies a Microsoft Advertising click for attribution when a campaign sends the visitor here. | Subject to the platform and consent choice; it is not saved by this site before optional permission. |
fbclid | Meta Ads | Identifies a Meta Ads click where a campaign runs there. | Subject to the platform and consent choice; it is not saved by this site before optional permission. |
Browser settings can remove local storage and cookies. Removing them does not erase an enquiry, chat transcript or server log already received by the operator.
Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads use distinct click identifiers for campaign attribution.
This site receives paid clicks today. Google Ads can attach gclid to a click. Microsoft Advertising can attach msclkid. Meta Ads can attach fbclid where a campaign runs there. These identifiers help identify which advertising visit led to an enquiry or visit measurement.
Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising send traffic here, and Meta Ads sends traffic here where its campaign runs. The presence of a click identifier is not a statement that a platform has reviewed, approved or verified this site. Legacy Plumbing does not claim that any platform has done so.
Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC receives the relevant Google Ads consent signals. Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd handles Microsoft Advertising activity. Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd handles Meta Ads activity where that campaign runs. The operator does not invent a Meta pixel identifier or a Google account identifier in this notice.
Consent Mode v2 starts four optional signals denied and changes them only after a visitor permits storage.
Consent Mode v2 holds ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage denied until the visitor allows storage. The four signals describe permission for advertising storage, advertising-related user data, advertising personalization and analytics storage. They are not a substitute for the visitor's choice.
When the visitor declines optional storage, or withdraws a previous choice, the site sets ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage back to denied. Limited consent signals may still be issued by platform tags while optional storage is denied. A denied choice does not promise that absolutely no network request occurs.
Global Privacy Control is honoured as an opt-out through the Sec-GPC header without asking again. That preference does not prevent the necessary operation of the page or the submission of a contact request.
The banner offers accept, decline and preferences controls, and the footer provides a later route to change the choice.
On a first visit, the unobtrusive cookie banner offers Accept, Decline and Preferences. Accept can allow the optional categories selected in the preference dialog. Decline keeps analytics and advertising storage denied. Preferences lets the visitor separate analytics permission from advertising storage and data use.
To change or withdraw a choice afterwards, select Cookie settings in the legal row at the bottom of any page. If that control is not visible because the page is still loading, use the Preferences control in the cookie banner. Saving declined settings sends all four Consent Mode v2 signals back to denied. The choice is stored as site_consent_v2 for 12 months.
Necessary storage cannot be switched off through this control because the site needs it to remember the choice and support a chat session the visitor starts. Browser controls remain available for deleting local storage.
Declining optional storage leaves reading, contact, chat and necessary site controls available while optional measurement stops.
When a visitor declines optional storage, the page remains readable and the plumbing services, contact details and inquiry form remain available. The support chat can be started with the necessary session function, subject to its own consent line. A visitor can call 469-389-4020 or email [email protected].
Optional analytics storage and advertising storage stay denied. Optional advertising personalization and advertising-related user data use stay denied as well. Campaign attribution may be incomplete, and the operator may not be able to connect an ad visit to a later enquiry. Declining does not erase information already submitted to Legacy Plumbing through an enquiry or chat.
